As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Central Region team and help expand our skip hire and waste management services.
Role Overview
As the Business Development Manager (Central Region), you will be responsible for developing new business and managing existing customer relationships across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey. You will play a key role in driving sales for our skip hire and waste management services, contributing to the company’s continued growth and reputation. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills, commercial awareness and the ability to build long-lasting relationships. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target and secure new business opportunities within the Central Region.
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers.
- Promote and sell skip hire and waste management solutions, tailoring offerings to customer needs.
- Support with Events waste management and tenders.
- Conduct site visits, prepare proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, forecasts and market trends.
- Represent Collard Environmental at industry events, meetings and networking opportunities.
About You
- Knowledge of the waste management industry (skip hire, recycling, construction waste or related fields).
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
