Our client operates two established hospitality brands across London, spanning a multi-site wine bar group and a well-known South African restaurant concept. They are a founder-led business with a strong growth trajectory, competing on quality, culture, and increasingly — technology.
This is a newly created position. You’ll work directly with the CEO and senior leadership team to identify, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions across the business — one project at a time, every week. Think of yourself as an internal AI product builder with commercial instincts.
Your first projects will likely include:
- A marketing automation machine using Claude, Notion, and other LLM tools — turning raw inputs from the team into polished LinkedIn posts, emails, and social content at the press of a button
- A hyper-personalised outbound outreach agent for local B2B prospecting — scraping Google Maps, enriching leads, verifying emails, and crafting bespoke messages for every recipient
- A vision-based stock-take app that photographs shelves and auto-populates inventory
- An AI-powered HR chatbot, trained on the employee handbook, giving staff instant answers to HR queries
- API integrations connecting core platforms into management dashboards that update automatically
Why This Role is Different: You will work directly with the CEO — a serial entrepreneur who has built and scaled multiple businesses across hospitality, technology, and professional services. That access is rare at this stage of a career. You won’t be sitting in a team of 20 waiting for tickets to be assigned. You’ll be in the room where decisions get made, seeing first-hand how a founder thinks about growth, people, commercial strategy, and execution. The learning and business exposure this role offers is, frankly, worth as much as the salary. If you’re ambitious, this is a launching pad — not just a job.
What We’re Looking For...
Must-Haves:
- You have already built something — a GPT, a Claude-powered tool, a Zapier automation, an API integration, a chatbot — and you can show us what it does
- Insatiable curiosity: you learn by doing, not by waiting for someone to teach you
- Relentless work ethic: you don’t need a manager breathing down your neck to ship
- Problem-solver first, tool-agnostic second: you reverse-engineer a problem, then pick the right instrument
- Comfortable working with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT) to build and iterate rapidly without being a traditional developer
- Able to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and translate business pain into a working prototype
Strong Advantages:
- Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier or similar workflow automation tools
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or building on top of LLM APIs
- Any exposure to hospitality tech stacks (POS, reservations, inventory, HR platforms)
- A portfolio of small projects you’ve shipped: side projects, client builds, or open-source contributions
- Commercial awareness — you think about ROI, not just functionality
What Success Looks Like: We expect your first working solution shipped within two weeks of starting. After that, one new solution delivered every week. We’re not interested in slide decks or discovery phases — we want you building from day one. You’ll be assessed on delivery cadence, impact, and initiative. If you perform, this role grows fast — in scope, seniority, and salary. If you don’t, it will be clear quickly.
The Deal:
- Salary: £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience and what you can prove
- Start date: June/July 2025
- Location: London (hybrid — split across sites and remote)
- Probation: 2-month performance review with fast-track extension if you deliver
- Reporting to CEO directly
