We’re looking for Processors to join our eBay team. You’ll report to the Operations Supervisor and work from our Ruislip, UK office.
What You’ll Do:
- Separate, and itemize department’s mail by service type.
- Match, count, and check items.
- Enter items and print stickers.
- Sort all orders by return carrier service.
- Become an expert in eBay’s published card condition standards.
- Become an expert in eBay’s AG processing standards.
- Exercise discretion and exhibit sound judgment and decision-making when engaging with all parties internally and externally.
- Collaborate with Operations and other departments to find appropriate solutions for Quickbase ticket responses.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the department protocols to eBay’s customer service (GCX).
- Resolve queries by clarifying the customer’s issue, determining the cause of the problem, selecting, and explaining the best solution to solve the problem.
- Maintain Quickbase tickets by processing customer orders.
- Continuously maintain a 2 day turnaround time on Quickbase responses.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate lead/supervisor.
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- You are a reliable team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You have the ability to work in a team environment, including a willingness to wear multiple hats and help as needed.
- You will have at least 2 years of relevant customer relations experience.
- You will have strong problem-solving skills.
- You will have excellent communication skills.
- You will have excellent listening skills and an empathetic voice and manner.
- Organized, detail oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Thrives in a high-paced environment.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and Docs.
- Knowledgeable in Quickbase systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Bending and Twisting: Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, and squatting.
- Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.
- Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks.
- Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
- Receiving and Inspecting Submissions: Ability to receive, and in some departments inspect, submissions. Ability to use a sharp blade and retrieve submissions from packaging.
- Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Hourly Rate: The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is £26,600. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
