Senior Manager / Manager, Workday HCM Consulting Services

The Senior Manager, Consulting Services is a practice leader who provides expert guidance, advice, and development support to the Consulting management team and their subsequent team members. This individual works closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Managing Consultants, and serves as a liaison between the Consulting team and executive management.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Oversee projects across the practice, support Engagement Managers and team members to identify needs, reduce risk, and develop solutions and strategies.
• Sales Support: Support the RFP response and pursuit process for Consulting work.
• Project Work: Guide the customer through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions, support transition to the Workday HCM solution, and keep the client, project team, and Engagement Manager informed of changes or progress.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and manage a diverse, remote team of consultants; lead and manage Senior Managers and Managing Consultants; drive high customer satisfaction and professional growth.
• People Development: Mentor and coach team members, assess skills for cross‑training, and advise management on availability and expertise.
• Performance Management: Establish goals and objectives for direct reports, collect performance feedback, and drive bi‑annual performance review processes.

Skills & Requirements

• 7‑10 years of Workday HCM (or other HCM platform) consulting implementation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading a virtual team for 3+ years.
• Fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and capable of thriving in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong teamwork skills, able to collaborate across teams.
• Sales engagement experience, including estimating and presenting to prospects.
• Minimal travel required; willing to travel on‑site as needed.
• Eligible for SC Clearance – UK resident for the last five years and legally entitled to work in the UK.
