Summary

All Saints Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint 2 experienced, committed and enthusiastic Learning Assistants. The successful applicants will work across our 2 school sites supporting a child/children with complex needs in class and within small groups.

  • 1 position will be initially working with children with complex needs in our Redwood provision.
  • The other position will initially involve working across the 2 school sites with 1:1 and small groups of children.

It is essential that applicants have appropriate literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths grades A-C or the equivalent) and have extensive experience of working with children who have complex needs in a school or other organisation.

Requirements:

  • Enjoy working with children and can bring out the best in them
  • Have excellent ICT skills
  • Have a consistently positive approach to behaviour management
  • Good team players with a sense of humour
