We\’re looking for an HR/Recruitment Professional, who has experience in providing HR support (recruitment, engagement, ER) within the education or health care sector to support this fantastic cause.
What difference will you make?
By volunteering with The CHC, you will play at key part in this wonderful and ambitious project, aimed at changing the eating habits of our children, thereby making them (and future generations) healthier and happier. As a team of volunteers, we are ever so grateful toeveryone who agrees to contribute some of their valuable time to the project, but as a minimum we ask for a commitment of at least 3-4 hours per week. All are voluntary positions with no remuneration offered other than what we hope will be a huge amount of job satisfaction and fun, working with like minded people with a passion for making a real difference to future generations.
What are we looking for?
Strong experience working as a People Partner, HRBP, People Manager or HR Generalist (paid or voluntary) CIPD qualification (or working towards) People management experience Prior experience in a similar role (paid or voluntary). Experience of working collaboratively with and influencing key stakeholders Previous experience of working for Charities and/or volunteer organisations is desirable but not required.
What will you be doing?
As a People Partner, you will work closely and collaboratively with Teams and Team Leaders in their ‘space’, providing proactive support and advice from a people/HR perspective to support the achievement of their team goals, providing a consistent approach to ensure volunteers are happy, engaged and able to make positive contributions to achieve shared success. Your responsibilities will include – Organisational/department design and development – Recruitment and Selection – Business Partnering – People Projects inline with People Strategy and Plan – Volunteer engagement
