About the Role

We are looking to fill two Director positions, both from equity and justice organisations. This is a volunteer, non-paid position.

What difference will you make?

As a Board member, you will help establish equitable and collaborative funding and decision-making practices, influencing wider change across the funding ecosystem. The Board meets every two months, alternating between in-person (central London) and online meetings, each lasting two hours. Directors will engage with some of the UK’s most innovative collaborations, decide on pooled funds for the Collaboration Circle, and contribute to developing new collaborative approaches. They will also help share learning generated through pooled funds to transform funding practices more broadly. Directors will appoint Funding Committees for each pooled fund, drawing on expertise from funding, equity, and justice sectors. Note: Directors will not make grant decisions.

What will you be doing?

Collaboration Circle, a subsidiary of London Funders, aims to create a more equitable and collaborative funding system. It pools resources across geographies and boundaries, enabling shared decision-making and learning. The Board, composed equally of funders and civil society representatives focused on equity and justice, oversees the organization. We seek two Directors from equity and justice organizations to join us.
