We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator to join a fast-paced, operations-focused business. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring stock / materials are available to support production and service delivery, while maintaining high levels of accuracy across planning systems. This position would suit someone with experience in supply chain, planning, or purchasing. You will need to be detail-driven, deadline-focused and comfortable working in a fast paced, reactive environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be responsible for executing the day-to-day supply chain plan, ensuring materials are available as and when they are needed.
  • Run and manage MRP to generate purchase requirements.
  • Convert demand into accurate and timely purchase orders.
  • Maintain planning parameters to ensure system reliability.
  • Manage supplier schedules and order books.
  • Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data (lead times, pricing, MOQs).
  • Produce reports on shortages, overdue orders, and supplier performance.
  • Expedite late or critical deliveries.
  • Identify risks, and provide resolutions to avoid further issues.
  • Maintain stock levels across parts, spares, and consumables.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders in line with demand.
  • Track order progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Work closely with warehouse and internal operations teams to prioritise demand.
  • Resolve stock discrepancies and system issues.
  • Escalate issues where required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • CIPS level 3 - ideal.
  • Previous experience in a supply chain, planning or purchasing role.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP would be ideal!).
  • Experience of managing supplier relationships, stock control, and expediting orders effectively.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage your own priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively, adopting a calm approach, within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills - with confidence to liaise with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
