We are proud to be working exclusively with an ambitious, growth-focused company who have a global presence in their market. They are now looking to recruit a Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator to play a key role in supporting their continued expansion.
This is a cross functional role that will work closely with both internal teams and global suppliers and would therefore be ideal for someone who is commercially aware, highly organised and naturally proactive.
As Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator, you will act as the central hub for product movement, supplier coordination, and data accuracy across the business. You will take ownership of purchase orders, shipment tracking, and product information, ensuring everything from costings to ETAs is accurate and aligned. Working closely with internal teams, global suppliers, and logistics partners, you will proactively manage the critical path, flag risks early, and help prevent delays before they impact customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Raise and manage supplier purchase orders
- Track production and shipping timelines with international suppliers
- Maintain accurate product data, including costings, barcodes, and compliance information
- Keep trackers and systems up to date
- Own the critical path and proactively highlight delays, risks, or issues
- Liaise with account managers to ensure customer expectations are met
- Communicate with customers to provide shipment updates
- Coordinate deliveries and shipments with freight forwarders and other stakeholders internally
- Work closely with finance to reconcile POs, invoices, and landed cost data
- Proactively manage your day-to-day activities, using initiative to resolve queries and to make the position your own.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Confidence working with data, spreadsheets, and digital systems
- A self-motivated, proactive approach with the ability to take ownership
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay ahead of deadlines
- A passion for accuracy, efficiency, and well-documented processes
- Experience in a supply chain, purchasing, operations, or buying administration role
WHAT’S ON OFFER:
- Salary up to £35,000, depending on experience
- Company Annual bonus incentive
- Hybrid working once fully trained (Full time in the office to start with)
