Project Management / Stakeholder Management Co-Ordinate daily activities to support successful implementation of the Project 6 month fixed term contract - Office based position - Poole PROJECT MANAGER / EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Manager, PMO professional or experienced Executive Assistant to help manage the delivery of a major ERP implementation project.
Specific ERP experience is not essential, We are primarily looking for someone with excellent project management, organisation, stakeholder management and project delivery experience.
You will work closely with the Business Transformation and project team, senior leadership, as well as internal teams and external ERP implementation partners, acting as a central point of coordination to keep the project organised, on track and delivered to agreed deadlines and SLAs.
A key part of the role will be holding people accountable for their actions and deadlines, identifying where things are slipping and proactively driving them through to completion.
Key Responsibilities of the PROJECT MANAGER / EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT: Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the ERP project.
Maintain project plans, milestones, action logs, RAID logs and decision logs.
Track deliverables, deadlines, dependencies and key project milestones.
Coordinate internal teams, senior stakeholders, suppliers and external consultants.
Organise project meetings, workshops and Steering Committees.
Prepare agendas, minutes, presentations and project reporting.
Chase outstanding actions and hold owners accountable for agreed deadlines.
Highlight risks, issues, delays and dependencies to project leadership.
Produce regular project status reports and management information.
Support governance, project controls and reporting processes.
Ensure project documentation and project information remain accurate and up to date.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: You could currently be working as a: Project Manager / Project Coordinator PMO / Programme Coordinator Project Administrator Executive Assistant Business Transformation or Change Coordinator KEY SKILLS: Highly organised and proactive.
Excellent at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
Comfortable chasing people and professionally holding them accountable.
Strong in communication, administration and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and take ownership.
Calm and effective in a fast-paced project environment.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3+ years' experience in project management, PMO, project coordination, programme support or senior executive support.
Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, actions and deadlines.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.
Experience producing project reports, presentations and management information.
Experience working with senior stakeholders and/or external partners.
IDEAL, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL: ERP or software implementation experience.
Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Net Suite, Acumatica or similar.
PRINCE2, APM or other project management qualification.
Microsoft Project experience.
Experience in business transformation, distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, logistics or supply chain.
THE KEY TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE: You don't need to be an ERP expert.
