As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced HR Manager to take full ownership of the HR function across the organisation. This is a standalone HR role, giving you the opportunity to shape HR policies, processes and best practice across the Group, while working closely with senior leadership. THE HR MANAGER: As Group HR Manager, you will be responsible for the full HR lifecycle, providing practical and commercially focused HR support to managers and employees across the business. You will manage day-to-day HR operations while also taking ownership of HR policies, employee relations, recruitment, compliance, training and development. Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers across the business. Lead and manage disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes, ensuring procedures are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation. Develop, review and maintain HR policies, procedures, the Employee Handbook and data protection documentation. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation. Manage absence and attendance, including absence monitoring and back-to-work interviews. Take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process, including job descriptions, advertising, agency management, interview coordination and supporting managers with selection decisions. Coordinate the probation review process, ensuring managers are aware of key dates and required actions. Prepare and collate relevant HR information for payroll, including new starters, leavers, pay changes and absence information. Manage holiday administration and maintain an accurate central holiday calendar. Coordinate annual Workstation Risk Assessments and support wider HR compliance activity. Keep up to date with changes in UK employment law and HR best practice, ensuring policies and processes remain compliant. Support the continued development of a positive, professional and productive workplace culture. Undertake other HR-related projects and responsibilities as required by the senior leadership team. You will be an experienced HR professional who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a broad HR remit. Proven experience working as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Experience managing employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance and performance matters. Experience managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding. The confidence to provide practical HR advice and challenge managers where appropriate. Experience working independently within a standalone or autonomous HR role would be highly advantageous. CIPD Level 3 or above, or equivalent HR experience. This is an Office based position, working full time hours Monday to Friday. Our client may consider someone on a 4.5 day working week.
