Are you an experienced Marketing Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity, where you can take ownership of the Marketing Strategy, and work closely with a high performing team, in a growing organisation?

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead and deliver strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and hands-on marketer who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical environment and collaborates well with internal teams to deliver results.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within construction or a similar environment, and be comfortable managing a team, as well as being very hands on to deliver outstanding results across the Marketing remit.

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:
  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies across digital, print, exhibitions, PR, and social media channels.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns from concept to execution while managing the company's online presence, CRM systems, and promotional activities.
  • Play key role in supporting sales activity, strengthening customer engagement, and enhancing the company's market presence.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, PPC, SEO, exhibitions, and traditional marketing channels.
  • Lead and support the wider marketing team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Create engaging marketing materials including brochures, exhibition graphics, press releases, case studies, and online content.
  • Manage and optimise CRM systems to improve customer engagement and repeat business.
  • Drive social media activity and increase audience engagement across platforms.
  • Organise and coordinate industry exhibitions, trade shows, and events to generate leads and strengthen brand visibility.
  • Oversee website development, content updates, SEO performance, and PPC campaigns to maximise online traffic and conversions.
  • Explore and implement AI and marketing automation tools to improve efficiency and campaign performance.
  • Manage advertising and promotional budgets effectively.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, surveyors, contractors, and industry stakeholders to support business development activities.
The successful Marketing Manager:
  • Confident, driven marketing professional with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
  • Previous marketing management experience within construction, building products, manufacturing, or a similar, technical industry.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills - managing a team of marketing and support staff across more than one location in the UK.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge including SEO, PPC, email marketing, website management, and social media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with experience producing high-quality marketing materials.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse marketing performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Spotler, or similar marketing software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable:
  • Strong experience managing CRM systems.
  • Exhibition and event planning experience.
  • Knowledge of AI marketing tools and automation platforms.
  • Budget management experience.
  • PR and media relations experience.
