Summary: The People Operations Partner - HRIS & Automation is a member of the People Operations (POps) team, performing core POps functions with a focus on automation initiatives and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) management. This role collaborates closely with business leaders to align priorities and strategies with organisational goals to transform people processes and enhance workplace efficiency throughout the POps tech stack (digital systems). We are currently seeking candidates located in France, Canada, or the United Kingdom; we are a remote‐first company, with the option to work from one of our offices if desired (Montreal, Canada / Cambridge, UK).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify HRIS requirements, enhancements, and integration opportunities.
- Deep understanding & subject‐matter expert on HRIS: drive automation initiatives, explore efficiencies, train teams on HRIS functionalities & processes, provide technical support/troubleshooting assistance, etc.
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of automation that optimises POps processes, ensuring timely delivery (including documentation), deployment and integration with existing systems.
- Design and create custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support POps decision‐making and strategic initiatives; monitor automation performance metrics and drive enhancements based on data‐driven insights.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations (GDPR, ISO 9001, ISO 27001).
- Act as a coach, trusted advisor, and knowledge expert for POps‐related issues, and demonstrate sound judgement for line managers.
- Other tasks as assigned, including projects.
Requirements:
- 5+ years working in Human Resources/People Operations (POps) functions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with HRIS management.
- Strong understanding of POps processes, regulations, and systems.
- Ability to navigate a fast‐paced environment and pivot based on shifting priorities.
- Clear communication, both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Superior relationship‐building skills.
- Strong time‐management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with HR data migration or HRIS implementation.
- Software development knowledge/background is an asset.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Experience in coaching/training/train‐the‐trainer.
- Experience scripting with Deluge.
- Language proficiency in French.
