Who will you be joining? A leading provider of technical products, specialising in access control systems. As a trusted name in the industry, they offer a comprehensive range of products and services to a network of nationwide professional installers, designed to meet the needs of residential, commercial, and industrial end-user clients. You will be joining their dynamic team as an Area Sales Manager for the South Region, playing a key role in driving sales growth.

What will you be doing? As the Area Sales Manager for the South Region, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across the south of the UK (below the M4 corridor and the Home Counties). This will involve regular customer visits to understand their business needs and demonstrate how the company's solutions can help them achieve their goals, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor. You will build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, develop and execute a territory plan identifying opportunities, and actively pursue new business. You will conduct product presentations and demonstrations, negotiate contracts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes, monitor market trends and competitor activities, provide regular sales reports and forecasts, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also represent the company brand to the highest professional standards.

Excellent communication and strong negotiation skills are essential, along with a demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Your resilience will enable you to engage comfortably with individuals at all levels. You will also be technically proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. A valid UK driving license and a willingness to travel extensively within the South Region are essential. Strong analytical and presentation skills are also required. Familiarity with technical products is desirable but not essential, as is a full clean UK driving license.

What’s in it for you? You can expect a competitive base salary of £37,500 - £50,000 with performance-based incentives and a generous commission plan to reward your achievements (uncapped commission, with estimated OTE of £15,000). A company car allowance will be provided, along with a workplace pension and generous annual leave entitlement.
