We are seeking skilled Electricians with Network Rail experience to join our team at the Cardiff Station electrical refurbishment for our client BAM Nuttall. Successful candidates will work under the direction of the Electrical Supervisor and will play an important role in delivering high-quality electrical installation works on a live rail environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced electricians to contribute to a major infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities- Installation of cable containment systems, including cable tray, ladder rack, and Unistrut support frames
- Installation of SWA cables, including routing, cleating, glanding, and termination at equipment and panels
- Completing all works in accordance with site safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and relevant industry standards
- Complying with Network Rail procedures, including PPE requirements, housekeeping standards, and working within operational industrial environments
- Proven experience working as an Electrician on Network Rail premises
- Competent in the use of hand tools and power tools for electrical installation work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Valid ECS Gold Card
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
