Coljoint is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead their electrical team for the refurbishment of Cardiff Station on behalf of our client BAM Nuttall. This is a site-based role, responsible for supervising electrical works and managing electricians on site, with occasional hands-on duties. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard, under the direction of the Site Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Supervising electrical operatives and coordinating daily site activities
- Overseeing installation works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and regulations
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and other trades
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times within the team
- Monitoring progress and quality of workmanship
- Carrying out electrical testing and certification where required
- Assisting with inspections, snagging, and handover processes
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Senior Electrician
- Experience on commercial, industrial, and rail projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and site procedures
- Ability to manage teams and work independently
- Testing and inspection qualification (preferred)
- Valid ECS Gold Card (SSSTS or SMSTS advantageous)
- PTS certification (essential)
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
