JOB PURPOSE
To effectively promote the Colin Neighbourhood Partnership's mission and initiatives within the Colin community and to key stakeholders, including government departments, statutory agencies, and service providers. This will involve strategically leveraging positive media coverage, developing high-quality marketing materials, and employing a variety of marketing communication methods to enhance the partnership's visibility, credibility, and impact. The goal is to foster greater awareness, collaboration, and support for the partnership's activities, ultimately strengthening its presence and influence within the local and wider community.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, P. R. or equivalent with at least two years' experience of working in a marketing setting.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and knowledge of CANVA graphic design platform.
- Experience in writing and editing press releases.
- Experience of managing and maintaining a range of social media platforms.
- Experience in producing high quality marketing, publicity and information tools including brochures, flyers, quarterly community news sheets, film/video production etc.
- Knowledge and experience of monitoring and updating website, to include photographic skills.
- Applicants must have their own vehicle and full driving licence or fully demonstrate their ability otherwise to meet the travel requirement of this post.
