Training Coordinator/Volunteer Support
Salary: £31,335 per annum
Hours: 37 hours
Duration: Up to 31st March 2027 (thereafter subject to continued funding)
Location: Colin Area
JOB PURPOSE
- To actively promote, develop and deliver the Colin Capacity Building training programme by providing high quality information, training and developmental support.
- To work with local voluntary and community organisations and groups to identify and secure relevant training.
- To increase opportunities within the Colin area for learning, skills development and employability through volunteering
- To increase opportunities within the Colin area for accredited learning, skills development and employability.
- To deliver a planned programme of training
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Third level qualification in a relevant field, e.g. Community Development, Training and Development, Education, Leadership and Management, HR
- At least 3 years' experience of managing and supporting capacity building programmes.
- Experience of managing and supporting volunteers to include:
- Identifying volunteer training needs through effective analysis and developing volunteer training programmes.
- Identifying new volunteering opportunities.
- Experience of delivering training and tracking outcomes
- Experience of working with statutory, voluntary and community groups
- Experience of monitoring and evaluating project outcomes, record keeping and report writing. Experience of completing funding applications and budget management
