  • Preparing walls, ceilings and other surfaces
  • Filling cracks and holes
  • Sanding and smoothing surfaces
  • Applying paint with brushes and rollers
  • Using spray-painting equipment
  • Applying undercoat and primer
  • Hanging wallpaper
  • Removing old paint or wallpaper
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools
  • Protecting floors, furniture and other areas
  • Mixing paint and matching colours
  • Keeping the work area clean and safe
