We have a very strong partnership with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and all local colleges offering P&D apprenticeships.
What You'll Do
- Preparing walls, ceilings and other surfaces
- Filling cracks and holes
- Sanding and smoothing surfaces
- Applying paint with brushes and rollers
- Using spray-painting equipment
- Applying undercoat and primer
- Hanging wallpaper
- Removing old paint or wallpaper
- Cleaning and maintaining tools
- Protecting floors, furniture and other areas
- Mixing paint and matching colours
- Keeping the work area clean and safe
- Following health and safety procedures
- Helping experienced painters and decorators with larger jobs
