We’re looking for an experienced, dynamic, and hands-on Roaming Deputy Manager to support our teams across our locations in London and the surrounding area. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll step in to provide cover, support site managers, and help ensure our cafés continue to deliver an exceptional experience for both customers and teams. If you have a natural talent for leadership, a love for hospitality, and thrive in fast-paced, busy environments, this could be the perfect role for you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting teams across all Colicci locations with a visible, hands-on presence, stepping in during management holidays, absences, and peak trading periods to help keep everything running smoothly.
- Ensuring smooth café operations and high levels of service standards are consistently delivered throughout every shift.
- Delivering top-tier customer service – making every guest feel welcome and ensuring a friendly, engaging atmosphere.
- Managing stock & orders – overseeing ordering, processing invoices, stock take and stock reconciliation to maintain efficiency and reduce waste.
- Overseeing event enquiries & delivery – coordinating small-scale events, such as children’s parties and private bookings, ensuring seamless execution.
- Creating & managing weekly team schedules – ensuring the right staffing levels for the time of day.
- Training & developing the team – coaching teams to excel in service, barista skills, and customer engagement.
- Maintaining health & safety standards – upholding the highest food and hygiene standards.
- Bringing energy & enthusiasm – supporting a positive, team-focused work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- An experienced hospitality professional – with previous experience as an Assistant, Deputy or Duty Manager.
- A customer-obsessed leader – who loves creating exceptional guest experiences.
- A hands-on team player – leading by example and always up for a challenge.
- A detail-oriented manager – experienced in ordering, stock control, and waste management.
- A problem-solver – able to think on your feet and handle the unexpected.
- A flexible & adaptable attitude – working weekends and during peak periods such as school holidays is essential – but no late nights!
- A calm and approachable manner – during peak periods this café becomes very busy so the ability to remain calm under pressure whilst consistently supporting others is a must!
Why Join Colicci?
- Competitive salary – proud to be a Living Wage employer!
- No late nights – most of our locations close by 5pm during winter hours and 7pm during summer.
- Free food & hot beverages on shift – get to choose a menu item of your choice.
- Paid breaks – for all team members.
- Exciting career growth – be part of a thriving, growing business.
- Team discounts – enjoy 40% off across all our sites.
- A supportive team culture – where passion thrives.
Please note that unfortunately this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have an existing right to work in the UK that does not require sponsorship.
