We’re looking for an experienced, dynamic and hands‑on Deputy General Manager to support daily operations, lead a passionate team, and ensure outstanding customer experiences. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the General Manager – ensuring smooth café operations and high levels of service standards are consistently delivered throughout every shift.
- Delivering top‑tier customer service – making every guest feel welcome and ensuring a friendly, engaging atmosphere.
- Managing stock & orders – overseeing ordering, processing invoices, stock take and stock reconciliation to maintain efficiency and reduce waste.
- Overseeing event enquiries & delivery – coordinating small‑scale events, such as children’s parties and private bookings, ensuring seamless execution.
- Creating & managing weekly team schedules – ensuring the right staffing levels for the time of day.
- Training & developing the team – coaching teams to excel in service, barista skills, and customer engagement.
- Maintaining health & safety standards – upholding the highest food and hygiene standards.
- Bringing energy & enthusiasm – supporting a positive, team‑focused work environment.
