Background & Job Purpose
Colgate‑Palmolive is engaged in a strategic shift to omnichannel demand generation from a strategic, organisational, knowledge/experimentation and investment aspect, which impacts all our current and future marketing and business activities. To help fuel this transformation in Northern Europe, we are looking for a Digital Engagement and Brand Experience Lead to support new and ongoing digital engagement projects, reporting to the Digital Transformation Director.
The Digital Engagement and Brand Experience Lead is a key player in architecting our “Owned Ecosystem” and leading the charge in creating a seamless, always‑on consumer journey. They will be responsible for managing multiple ongoing PR, social and contract projects requiring coordination with a broad set of stakeholders across Europe.
What you will do
As the Digital Engagement and Brand Experience Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Ecosystem Ownership: Act as the strategic owner of the owned ecosystem, including Websites, Organic Social, PR, and Influencer strategies.
- Integrated PR & Influencer Strategy: Lead a unified PR and influencer approach, leveraging coverage and assets as scalable content that feeds the entire omnichannel demand funnel.
- Paid Social Strategy: Partner with our paid social agency teams to ensure efficient and effective paid strategies are developed and implemented across priority channels.
- Global Content Tool Governance: Drive local implementation and adaptation of central tools from the Global Content Factory to CreativeX, ensuring local relevance while maintaining global efficiency and brand cohesiveness.
- Retail Media Integration: Own the Retail Media Influencer and Paid Social strategy to ensure high‑quality content drives consistent engagement and conversion across social and retail commerce platforms.
- Data‑Driven Experience: Partner with data leads to drive 1P data acquisition through owned channels and integrate social listening data with retail performance to link sentiment directly to conversion.
- Innovation & Efficiency: Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation and analyze audience behavior for optimal posting and engagement.
- People Management: Manage and support the development of the Social Media & Website Specialist.
About The Colgate Team You’ll Be Joining
You’ll be a member of the Northern Europe Digital Team, a central team driving all things Digital for Colgate’s Northern Europe Hub.
Preferred Functional Experience
- Previous experience in digital marketing, content marketing and/or PR in the UK
- Experience working with content/creative agencies
- Superb communications and project management experience
- Strong analytical skills and data‑driven thinking
- Experience with tools such as CreativeX, Sprinklr or other social listening tools, SEMRush, Jira, etc.
