Job Purpose
The in-house Search Executive is responsible for working closely with our central agency partners to help manage and optimize our search campaigns across both paid and organic. Predominantly working within the Google ecosystem, the executive's task is to ensure more qualified and targeted traffic via search in order for us to achieve our wider business goals. You will help craft the European SEA strategy generating high-quality, cost-efficient traffic to fuel brand visibility, while providing a contribution to retailer paid search execution. Regarding SEO/GEO, you will work alongside the consumer engagement team, providing keyword research and insights to support and help us scale-up and generate a strategy to increase organic & LLM visibility. Analytics and insights will be a key part of the role, so experience with platforms such as Google Ads and SEMrush are critical.
What you will do
- Implementing the Unified Search Strategy
- Create and execute paid campaigns with external agencies, including keyword and prompt research, ad copy approval, campaign setup and ensuring campaigns are delivering against core business priorities
- Providing insights to help define priorities for GEO/SEO strategy, working in partnership with external agencies and internal content team
- Supporting the regional team when building content for new product launches, to optimize the content for GEO/SEO
- Build and elevate Search capabilities via regular updates and best practices sharing with key stakeholders (Regional Marketing, Global, Countries) as well as through Search Trainings and GA skills integration
- Work closely with EMEA markets to ensure feedback is provided and that the central search team is providing the right support and answering all country needs
Reporting & Insights
- Monitor and understand organic traffic trends for Hill’s as well as our competitors
- Monitor and optimize paid search campaigns alongside our external agency team, including testing of new features and bi-weekly reviews of ad account statuses (budgets, pacing, ad copy etc.)
- Ownership of QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews)
- Ad hoc reporting as and when required by markets and regional team
- Providing broader industry insights for external customer meetings and budget reviews
Wider support
- Provide strategic guidelines to local eCom teams to adopt a complementary approach to Paid Search at e-Tailers level in order to maximize SEA impact and ROI
- Contributing to retailer/shopper trends via constant keywords/prompts sharing
- Work closely with cross-functional teams within the regional team, to ensure all search activity is aligned with our overall marketing strategy and core business focuses
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience within SEA/GEO & SEO
- Experience in CPGs an advantage
- Must have experience of Google suite, including Google Ads, SA 360, Google Analytics, KW Planner & Search Console
- Bonus to have experience using insight platforms such as BrightEdge, Similarweb and SEMrush
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Foundational knowledge regarding the mechanics of SEA, GEO, and SEO within the broader marketing landscape
- Proven ability to shape campaign outcomes and a history of driving measurable success
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities
- Strong interpersonal aptitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
