About the Role

The Oral Care Consultant is a field‑based specialist working closely with dental professionals across the UK. The role involves detailing, selling, and merchandising Colgate products to both existing and new dental sector customers, thereby building brand awareness and driving sales for professional products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit dentists, hygienists, and therapists within dental practices, area health authorities, hospitals, and dental hospitals.
  • Establish contact and build rapport with dental professionals, selling specialist professional products and promoting consumer brand recommendations.
  • Educate dental professionals about specific oral care areas and the benefits of Colgate products.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager for coaching, development, and an individual development plan.
  • Maintain and collate customer records in the C4C system, summarising visits, competitor activity, and feedback.
  • Complete quarterly business plans and weekly visit plans.
  • Provide technical and scientific product information through trade exhibitions, educational group meetings, and one‑to‑one sessions.
  • Deliver on daily KPIs, including face‑to‑face and remote contact with dental professionals.
