Internship position to support Hill’s UK and Ireland Professional and Veterinary Affairs (PVA) team to strengthen our position in the Vet Channel, drive vets’ recommendation and create brand awareness. Key projects will include:
- Support the planning and execution of professional events and Hill’s presence at congresses
- Support the implementation of continuing professional development (CPD) programmes, virtual and face to face
- Support the development of nutrition education and resource materials
- Administrative tasks to support the PVA Team
What you will be doing:
- Support the end-to-end execution of professional off-site events and industry congresses across the UK and Ireland, coordinating promotional materials, logistics, stand briefing, and attendee communications to build brand endorsement.
- Manage the delivery of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs by handling council credit applications, managing hired speaker contracts, creating promotional materials for the sales team and social media, updating the online Veterinary Academy, and facilitating webinar technical logistics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Services to ensure nutritional accuracy in marketing assets and support customer inquiry responses.
- Drive operational efficiency across team workflows by overseeing vendor setup, contract tracking, supplier invoicing, and physical collateral distribution.
What you will bring:
- Work experience or interest in event coordination and the organisation of continuing professional development
- Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders, creativity and the ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
- Detail oriented with skills in organisation, priority setting and adaptability to changing priorities and circumstances
- Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and AI-driven workflows. Experience with design tools such as Canva would be a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland for off-site industry events
Travel Requirements: May be required to attend events across the UK and Republic of Ireland with the PVA Team.
