The ODG Digital Engagement Manager leads the digital transformation of how Hill’s engages with Veterinary professionals across the Western Europe Hub (Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom and Ireland). This role leads a team of Digital Engagement Specialists and focuses entirely on building preference, recommendation, and advocacy for Hill’s among veterinary professionals and pet parent demand. He/she owns the hub Digital Ecosystem including websites, and will design and execute integrated digital marketing and education programs for the professional audience, turning complex nutritional science into credible, practical, and compelling digital content that supports better clinical outcomes.

What you will do

  • Professional Ecosystem Leadership: Own, optimize, and manage the hub's professional digital platforms and tools, including website oversight. Champion the usage of highly specific digital touchpoints including Hill’s Vet portal, Quick Reco, Facebook Professional, and professional blogs.
  • Scientific Education & Webinars: Plan and deliver digital scientific education programs (such as webinars, virtual events, and online courses) in tight collaboration with the Professional Veterinary Affairs (PVA) department.
  • B2B CRM & Marketing Automation: Design and execute CRM, segmentation, and marketing automation journeys specifically tailored for vets, nurses, and clinics. Manage the professional database, build email workflows, and ensure high‑quality 1st‑party data collection.
  • In‑Clinic Digital Integration: Develop initiatives that build vet advocacy and recommendation by linking offline/in‑clinic activities (such as virtual calls, consulting, and field force automation) with seamless digital follow‑up.
  • Cross‑Functional Orchestration: Lead and develop the hub’s Digital Engagement team. Connect professional recommendation programs with consumer activations (managed by the IBE team), ensuring a seamless path from vet recommendation to pet parent action. Use analytics to track professional engagement and optimize campaign effectiveness.

Skills and Competencies

  • B2B/Professional Digital Expertise: Deep familiarity with digital engagement targeted at healthcare professionals, including CRM/database marketing, professional search, eLearning, and medical recommendation tools.
  • Scientific Translation: Ability to plan, develop, and localize professional content and assets while maintaining the highest scientific, regulatory, and ethical standards.
  • Platform Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of professional CRM and workflow builder tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud/SFMC), field force automation tools, and webinar/virtual event platforms.
  • Analytical & Data‑Driven Mindset: Ability to turn complex media and engagement data into actionable insights to optimize professional spending and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies, Business, or a related field
  • 4‑5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing roles
  • Demonstrated experience managing professional websites, B2B CRM, and digital educational applications
  • Proven experience managing teams and leading cross‑functional digital projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English (written and oral)

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B experience within a structured pharmaceutical, healthcare, or pet care company
  • Prior experience collaborating directly with Veterinary Affairs, Medical Affairs, or specialized B2B Field Sales teams.
  • Experience with and understanding of the Profession as a recommendation and selling channel
  • Strong understanding of Profession as a recommendation and selling channel
  • Experience with 1P Data/CRM orchestration
  • Strong tech‑fluency and experience using AI‑powered tools for content generation and media analytics.
  • Able to communicate in one of the hub languages.
