Job purpose

The ODG Digital Engagement Associate manager drives the execution and optimisation of digital programmes to build preference, recommendation and advocacy for Hill's among veterinary professionals. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role manages key workstreams within the Hub's Digital Ecosystem and designs integrated digital marketing and education programmes. The Associate Manager plays a crucial role in turning complex nutritional science into credible, practical and compelling digital content, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and tactical execution.

Responsibilities

  • Professional ecosystem management: optimise and manage the professional digital platforms and tools, acting as a lead on specific digital ecosystem projects.
  • Scientific education & webinars: support digital scientific education programmes (such as webinars, virtual events and online courses) in tight collaboration with the Professional Veterinary Affairs (PVA) department.
  • B2B CRM & marketing automation: lead on specific CRM, segmentation and marketing automation initiatives tailored for vets, nurses and clinics. Manage the professional database, build complex email workflows and ensure high-quality 1st-party data collection.
  • In-Clinic digital integration: support driving initiatives that build vet advocacy and recommendation by linking offline/in-clinic activities (such as virtual calls, consulting and field force automation) with seamless digital follow‑up.
  • Cross-functional orchestration: connect professional recommendation programmes with consumer activations, ensuring a seamless path from vet recommendation to pet parent action.
  • Analytics & reporting: use analytics to track professional engagement, optimise campaign effectiveness and provide actionable reporting to the ODG Digital Engagement Manager.

Skills and Competencies

  • B2B/Professional digital expertise: deep familiarity with digital engagement targeted at healthcare professionals, including CRM/database marketing, professional search, eLearning, and medical recommendation tools.
  • Scientific translation: ability to plan, develop, and localise professional content and assets while maintaining the highest scientific, regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Platform proficiency: strong working knowledge of professional CRM and workflow builder tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud/SFMC), field force automation tools and webinar/virtual event platforms.
  • Analytical & data-driven mindset: ability to turn complex media and engagement data into actionable insights to optimize professional spending and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies, Business, or a related field
  • 3-4+ years of experience in Digital Marketing roles
  • Demonstrated experience managing websites, CRM, digital educational applications
  • Proven experience leading cross‑functional digital projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English (written and oral)

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B experience within a structured pharmaceutical, healthcare or pet care company
  • Prior experience collaborating directly with Veterinary Affairs, Medical Affairs or specialized B2B Field Sales teams
  • Experience with and understanding of the Profession as a recommendation and selling channel
  • Experience with 1P Data/CRM orchestration
  • Strong tech‑fluency and experience using AI‑powered tools for content generation and media analytics
  • Able to communicate in one of the hub languages
