Location: Woking Surrey

Reporting to: Customer Service Supervisor

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract

Salary: £31500 - £35000

Role Summary

As a Dietary Consultant, you will deliver exceptional customer service and support across multiple communication channels, including telephone, email, social media, and correspondence. Sitting within the Customer Service team, this role serves as a key brand ambassador, ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic resolutions for internal and external stakeholders. By maintaining high service standards and supporting key departmental services, you will drive customer satisfaction and help strengthen brand loyalty for Hill’s pet care ranges.

What you will be doing

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and consumer enquiries across email, phone, social media, and written correspondence, ensuring timely and professional resolution.

  • Uphold agreed Consumer Service Levels and Standards while maintaining objectivity and accuracy in recording and processing information.

  • Manage and elevate sensitive quality reports according to business procedures, contributing to product quality oversight and database maintenance.

  • Administer key departmental programs and specialized services, including 100% Satisfaction Guarantee claims, Urolith Analysis, and Veterinary Consultation support.

  • Maintain, monitor, and refine operational protocols and statistics to ensure continuous optimisation of departmental activities.

  • Support the Veterinary Consultation Service

  • Attend occasional sales meetings & technical training as the representative of the Customer Service team

What you will bring

  • Qualification as an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse or Animal Nutritionist.

  • Experience working with veterinary clinical protocols or animal nutrition care.

  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and customer interaction tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets).
