Colets Health and Fitness, a large independent health club based in Thames Ditton Surrey, is currently looking for full-time lifeguards.
Role: We are looking for energetic and self-motivated lifeguards to join our team. In this role, you will be expected to promote and deliver effective safeguarding practices across all activities.
Main Duties:
- Ensure swimmers are safe, enforce water safety policies & pool regulations
- Respond to emergencies and carry out rescues
- Provide basic first aid and CPR
Skills:
- Understanding of safety responsibilities of a lifeguard
- Knowledge of pool safety protocols, emergency & accident procedures
- Good communicator
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards swimming
- Professional, well-organised
- Good time keeping and regular attendance
- Flexibility to work weekdays (which will include early and late evening shifts) and weekends
Qualification Requirements:
- Valid NPLQ Qualification
- First Aid & Defib Qualification
- To undertake a DBS check
- Complete ongoing safeguarding training
