We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundsperson to support the maintenance and upkeep of the outdoor sports facilities at Colets Health Club. This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high-quality playing surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine grounds maintenance across all sports areas
- Mowing, marking, and general upkeep of pitches including football, cricket, and rugby
- Ensuring all playing surfaces are safe, presentable, and fit for use
- Basic maintenance of equipment and reporting any faults or issues
- Assisting with seasonal pitch preparation and renovation works
- General site tidiness, including litter picking and minor repairs
- Supporting other facilities maintenance tasks as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role is desirable but not essential
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use groundskeeping machinery (e.g. mowers, line markers)
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours:
20 hours per week (flexible schedule, may include some weekends depending on pitch usage)
