Colets Nursery is looking for a Nursery Educator Apprentice to join our caring and dynamic team. You'll gain hands-on experience while working towards your Early Years Educator qualification, with the opportunity to join us as a qualified team member upon completion!

Role & Responsibilities:
Families
- Build strong partnerships with parents
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Handle feedback professionally and constructively
- Support nursery events and parents’ evenings
- Log daily updates and communicate via the FAMLY app under the guidance of the room leader
Children
- Support children’s wellbeing and comfort upset children with empathy
- Assist with toileting, nappy changing, and hygiene routines
- Encourage independence in daily tasks (dressing, hand washing, etc.)
- Keep play and learning areas clean and tidy
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to learning journals
- Engage actively in play-based learning and social development
- Stay up to date with safeguarding knowledge and training
Team
- Collaborate with your team and room leader to create an engaging environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow daily routines
- Always follow our professional code of conduct
Operations
- Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures
- Supervise nap times in line with our sleep policy
- Promote a respectful and inclusive environment
- Embrace change and meet deadlines with reliability
- Complete all required training within the specified timeframes
