Manage a varied caseload of residential matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, transfers of equity and re-mortgages. Review title documents, raise and deal with enquiries, and consider search results. Prepare and deal with contracts, transfers, and mortgage documentation through to exchange. Produce completion statements, request mortgage funds, and handle completion monies. Complete SDLT submissions and register transactions with HM Land Registry in a timely manner. Keep clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors updated with clear and regular communication.
The Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Conveyancer to join our team in our Broadstone Office. The right candidate will be able to handle a varied caseload of residential property matters. You will support clients throughout the transaction process, from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring everything is dealt with efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong focus on client care.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be a qualified Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive.
- Proficiency in Case Management Systems and online portal tools.
- Deep, current understanding of residential property law, compliance regulations, and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the capacity to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
