The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our customers and colleagues. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, a positive attitude, and pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness across the site. Working Hours Permanent, part-time position 2 shifts per week Approximately 1114 hours per week Hours may vary depending on business requirements Key Responsibilities The Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for: Cleaning and maintaining customer and staff areas to a high standard. Ensuring public facilities, including toilets and shared areas, are clean, tidy, and well presented. Cleaning staffroom and staff welfare areas. Carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the garden centre. Emptying bins and ensuring waste areas are maintained appropriately. Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies as required. Carrying out cleaning tasks safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment and products. Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to management. Supporting the team with any other reasonable housekeeping duties requested by management. Essential Requirements The successful candidate must have: Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or similar experience preferred. A good eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards. A reliable and flexible approach to work. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good physical fitness due to the nature of the role, which involves standing, walking, lifting, and practical cleaning tasks.
