Chef de Partie Location 6 Old Ballyclare Road, Ballyclare BT39 0BJ Full job description We are seeking a passionate, reliable Chef de Partie to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years previous experience with preparing food and restaurant industry experience. The successful candidate must be confident in taking direction, have the ability to multi-task effectively and work well as a team member. Responsibilities: Accurately measuring meal ingredients. Preparing meal ingredients, which includes seasoning of different meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits. Preparing salads and sauces as directed by the Head Chef. Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality. Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the Head Chef of low or depleted supplies. Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers. Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized. Plating and presenting meal items as per the Head Chefs instructions. Chef Requirements: Associates degree, diploma, or certification in culinary arts is advantageous. At least 1 year or more of kitchen food preparation and handling required. Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations. The ability to stand for extended periods.
