Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Our client is seeking a confident and experienced Senior Site Engineer to lead engineering operations across a range of Earthworks projects. This is a hands-on role approximately 70% site-based and 30% office-based offering the opportunity to shape major infrastructure works while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to project success across the North East.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site surveys and setting out using GPS, total station, and laser levels
- Produce accurate drawings, volume calculations, and technical reports
- Support estimating and tendering activities with take-offs and material analysis
- Supervise, guide, and mentor two Site Engineers, ensuring quality, compliance, and best practice
- Coordinate with Contracts Managers and senior leadership to drive project delivery
- Maintain accurate, structured site and project records
- Ensure all works adhere to health and safety regulations and company standards
