A leading Construction and Facilities Management contractor is seeking an experienced and fully qualified Plumber to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role will see you working across a couple of sites in Newcastle, delivering high-quality servicing and repairs. Role and Responsibilities * Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of wet rooms across both residential and commercial properties. * Complete full wet room fit-outs, including waterproofing, tiling, plumbing, patch plastering, basic carpentry, and installation of bathroom fittings. * Apply waterproofing systems and seal all surfaces effectively to prevent water penetration. * Measure, cut, and lay tiles with precision to achieve a high-quality, professional finish. * Install and connect bathroom fixtures such as toilets, sinks, and showers, ensuring proper plumbing connections. * Undertake both reactive repairs and scheduled maintenance to keep wet rooms fully operational. * Take part in the emergency call-out rota, providing out-of-hours repair support when necessary. * Ensure all tasks comply with current health and safety regulations and meet established quality benchmarks. * Monday – Friday + OOH rota Requirements * NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Plumbing, Tiling, or a related trade discipline * Valid CSCS or JIB card * Demonstrated experience in wet room installations or comparable plumbing roles * Proficient in waterproofing, tiling, and basic carpentry/joinery tasks * Capable of accurately reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation plans * Full UK driving licence (required) * Able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment * Excellent communication and customer service abilities Benefits Package * Competitive salary based on experience * Company van and fuel card * 24 days annual leave + public holidays * Employee discount schemes with major brands and retailers * Discounted gym memberships * Cycle to work scheme * Holiday purchase scheme * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities This is a permanent position, and Coleman James are acting as an Employment Agency
