We are working alongside a privately-owned Building Services consultancy in the North East who are looking for an ambitious and driven Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer AND an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their growing office.
This company is a privately owned Building Services consultancy operating for over 25 years. This is an exciting chance to join an established business with a strategy in place for sustainable and profitable growth.
Your workload is varied offering different challenges and rewards. Project sectors include Custodial, Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial and much more.
The Role:
- Responsible for design development, including drawings and calculations;
- Liaise with Clients, other design team members and contractors;
- Liaise with other team members to plan workload and resources;
- Produce drawings and calculations and checking those of others;
- Author official documents including letters, reports and specifications;
Skills/Experience:
- Sound technical knowledge of mechanical building services.
- AutoCAD / REVIT familiarity (although not critical).
- Familiar with industry standard calculation programmes, e.g. Hevacomp / Cymap / IES.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Salaries:
- Grad level - Early £20k - late £20k + package
- Intermediate level - £30k - £36k + package
