The predicted salary is between 67500 - 67500 Β£ per year.
Our client is leading international MEP engineering consultancy delivering innovative, sustainable and technically excellent engineering solutions across a range of sectors within MEP Building Services, particularly within the data centre and critical infrastructure sectors.
They are looking for an experienced BIM Manager to support their Newcastle office and to lead BIM projects, ensuring high quality model management across various sectors.
Collaborating with international teams, you will also develop Revit and Auto CAD standards, and coordinate with design teams to meet project timelines.
Your role will encompass training and mentoring staff while also engaging with clients during project presentations.
A strong background in Revit MEP and Auto CAD is essential, along with excellent leadership skills.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of BIM Coordinators and BIM Technicians.
- Manage resource planning, workload allocation and team development.
- Drive consistency in BIM standards, quality assurance and project delivery.
- Develop and maintain BIM execution plans, templates, libraries and workflows.
- Support project teams in the delivery of coordinated MEP models.
- Oversee model quality, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Work closely with project leaders to identify opportunities for improved digital delivery.
- Champion innovation, automation and continuous improvement within BIM processes.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and training of BIM personnel.
- Collaborate with IT and Digital Engineering teams regarding software implementation and emerging technologies.
- Act as the primary BIM subject matter expert
Previous data centre experience is not required.
