Highly regarded Construction and FM contractor are seeking an experienced Multi Skill Engineer (Electrical bias), on a full time permanent basis. This role is part of a leading facilities management team dedicated to delivering high-quality maintenance services across residential and commercial sites, with this role working across the student accommodation sites.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests during working hours and as part of the on-call rota.
  • Replacing electrical appliances, fittings, luminaires, and general LV accessories.
  • Performing quarterly shower head and hose cleaning in line with L8 requirements (training provided).
  • Monitoring temperatures of hot and cold water systems on a monthly basis.
  • Conducting weekly flushing of water outlets in unoccupied rooms.
  • Performing regular fire alarm testing and supporting bi-annual fire door inspections (training provided).
  • Maintaining mechanical systems and plant rooms through ongoing checks and repairs.
  • Completing minor repairs across building fabric, fixtures, and fittings within student rooms and communal areas.
