We are working for an established Principal Contractor who are seeking an experienced Site Manager (Mechanical or Electrical) to join them on a permanent basis, to oversee the successful delivery of projects across the North East and be part of an upcoming critical infrastructure project in Newcastle. The initial project involves a combination of electrical, mechanical and civil engineering works, including UPS and battery installations, LV switchgear, new chillers, cooling infrastructure, pipework and associated external works. This role will involve taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, working closely with our Project Management team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day site operations across mechanical and electrical engineering projects. Manage subcontractors, site personnel, and project activities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Monitor project progress, schedules, and resource requirements.
