Our client is an established privately-owned MEP services contractor who have been in business for over 20 years and they are searching for an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team based in West Scotland. They specialise in pre-fabrication, new installation and refurbishment, providing market leading services across various sectors including Commercial, Education, Leisure, Accommodation, Residential, MOD/MOJ, Industrial, Retail and Health. They have work secured until 2028 within the region and lots in the pipeline! This is a great opportunity to progress your career as part of a talented, diverse, and supportive team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and manage electrical building services projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinate electrical design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project programmes, budgets, and resource requirements to achieve delivery targets.
  • Review and manage technical drawings, specifications, and design information.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee installation quality, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure all electrical works comply with current regulations, standards, and health & safety requirements.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to site.
  • Identify and resolve technical and construction issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support project reporting, progress meetings, and commercial change management processes.
  • Assist with commissioning activities, snagging, and final project handover documentation.

Project Engineers are a valuable part of their business, the focus of this role will be to provide leadership, insight, direction and foresight in the safe and profitable delivery of schemes, while also providing excellent customer satisfaction and successfully developing a team.
