A leading Construction and Facilities Management contractor is seeking an Fabric Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is a mobile role working across a range of commercial sites across Lincoln.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mobile facilities maintenance services to high street retail and banking clients.
  • Perform a range of building fabric maintenance tasks including: Patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry and painting and decorating
  • Conduct both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across client sites.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with statutory health and safety standards and internal policies.
  • Carry out regular inspections and monitoring of equipment as part of a preventative maintenance programme.
  • Effectively communicate with clients during service visits, reporting defects and providing updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed using digital systems.
  • Represent the company professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within facilities management, mobile maintenance, or the construction sector.
  • City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, building maintenance).
  • Good IT literacy for digital record keeping and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • Physically fit to carry out a range of manual tasks.
  • Knowledge and adherence to health & safety procedures.
