Our client is world leading construction and engineering company who are looking for an Electrical Technical Engineer to join their team in London. Projects are based in London and the Southeast and cover various sectors including Healthcare, Residential Regeneration, Schools and Data Centres with values ranging from Β£5m - Β£130m.
You will assist the Electrical Technical Manager in the delivery and technical authorisation of Electrical design information; from prequalification to completion with an emphasis on preconstruction (RIBA Plan of Work Stages 3 to 6 / BSRIA BG6 Stages 3 to 6). You will build and lead effective relationships with MEP Consultants, Digital Engineering Coordinators and Specialist CDP Designers to maximise value/opportunity and mitigate risk.
Responsibilities
- Support the Electrical Technical Manager in delivering the designs
- Support and mentor Junior Engineers
- Contribute to Designing for Safety and CDM
- Undertake granular design reviews and manage technical risks
- Monitor MEP design progress.
- Validate site installation and system operation against the design
Requirements
- Experience within a design consultancy / D&B contractor
- HND / NVQ in Electrical or Building Services
