A leading construction and facilities management company is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join the Carlisle division, on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor looking to play a key role in delivering property repair, reinstatement, and small works projects across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out site inspections and property surveys
- Preparing schedules of works, specifications, and cost estimates
- Producing quotations, valuations, and project cost plans
- Managing project budgets and controlling costs throughout the lifecycle of works
- Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, clients, and contractors
- Reviewing subcontractor quotations and managing supplier performance
- Monitoring project progress, quality, and delivery against agreed programmes
- Providing technical guidance and support to operational teams
- Customer care
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveyor, Commercial Surveyor, or similar role
