Our client is a highly established, leading Tier 1 contractor who is looking for a talented Bid Coordinator to join their Pre-Construction team, supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of high-quality bid and tender submissions across a range of sectors.

As a Bid Coordinator you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of bids from initial enquiry through to contract award.

Working closely with the Bid Coordinator Lead and wider pre-construction teams, you'll help ensure submissions are accurate, compliant, professionally presented and delivered on time.

You'll coordinate information from multiple stakeholders, maintain document control, support governance processes and contribute to the production of compelling bid submissions that align with customer, technical and commercial requirements.

As Bid Coordinator you will

  • Support the Bid Coordinator Lead in the preparation, coordination and delivery of bids and tender submissions.
  • Coordinate input from estimating, design, proposals and commercial teams to ensure complete and accurate submissions.
  • Manage tender documentation, templates and filing systems, maintaining robust version control.
  • Prepare and format bid documents, reports and presentations in line with company branding standards.
  • Record, distribute and track tender clarifications, updates and correspondence.
  • Organise bid meetings and support the production of agendas, actions and meeting minutes.
  • Monitor tender programmes and highlight risks, delays or issues to the wider team.
  • Support quality assurance and compliance reviews before submission.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners throughout the bid process.
  • Assist with lessons learned reviews, customer feedback and bid close-out activities.

Requirements

  • Experience within bid coordination, tendering, proposals or a similar work-winning environment.
  • An understanding of pre-construction and bidding processes within the construction, engineering or M&E sectors.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail when working to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
