A large specialist MEICA contractor is looking for two electrical installation technicians for upcoming industrial works on Scottish Water sites across the country. The business has pipeline up to and beyond 2032 with agreed in place frameworks. They are paying £21.50/hr, with time and a half after 37.5 hours each week, paid travel time and a van with fuel card.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical installation works to BS7671 (18th Edition)
  • Installation of low voltage control systems
  • Installation of instrumentation
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematic drawings
  • Fault finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Ensuring compliance with NICEIC / ECA standards
  • Providing clear technical documentation and reports
  • Supporting site teams and liaising with clients and contractors

Essential Requirements

  • Completed electrical apprenticeship
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • ECS Gold Card
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable Experience

  • Water industry / utilities experience
  • Control panels and instrumentation
