We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established facilities and maintenance operation covering a portfolio of sites across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. This is a permanent, field-based opportunity offering a varied workload across multiple properties. You'll be responsible for ensuring commercial heating and gas systems remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gas and heating systems
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs
- Planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Working on commercial boilers and associated plant equipment
- Combustion analysis and relevant safety testing
- Minor mechanical and plumbing works
- Supporting equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning
- Completing required inspections and compliance documentation
- Ensuring all work meets relevant health, safety and industry regulations
Requirements:
- Relevant commercial gas qualifications
- Experience maintaining and repairing commercial heating and gas systems
- A good understanding of industry health and safety requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Additional mechanical or plumbing qualifications and experience within large multi-site estates would be advantageous.
