We are seeking an experienced and skilled Diamond Driller to join our Specialist Cutting Services team. You will carry out specialist drilling and sawing works across a variety of construction and engineering projects, using industry-leading equipment to deliver precise, safe, and high-quality results. This role requires an NVQ Level 2 in Diamond Drilling and Sawing and a strong track record working on live site.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Skilled Diamond Driller, you will be responsible for carrying out core drilling, sawing, and controlled cutting on commercial and industrial projects. You will work independently and as part of a team to deliver works safely, efficiently, and to specification. This role requires a strong understanding of drilling and sawing techniques, on-site operations, and health and safety procedures.

• Able to read and follow RAMS, drawings, and job specifications
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willing to travel and work in varied site environments

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver diamond drilling and sawing works to a high standard.
• Operate specialist equipment including stitch drilling, floor sawing, and track sawing.
• Set up work areas, equipment, and permits in line with safety regulations.
• Work from technical drawings and site instructions.
• Complete job sheets, safety documentation, and tool inspections.
• Maintain equipment and ensure PPE is used correctly.
• Contribute to a positive site culture centred on safety and quality.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Diamond Drilling and Sawing (including site experience)
• NVQ Level 2 in Diamond Drilling and Sawing (essential)
• CSCS Skilled Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
• Full UK driving licence

Training / Qualifications (mandatory or to be achieved):

• CCDO Labourers Card
• Abrasive Wheels
• PASMA Tower User
• IPAF Harness Use and Inspection
• CITB Health and Safety Awareness
• Face Fit Tested

Beneficial (not essential as training can be provided):

• B+E towing licence
• IPAF 3a/3b
• Brokk / remote-controlled robotics
• Wire sawing
• Hot works (burning / oxy fuel)
• Confined Spaces
• Other ROSPA H&S modules
