ABOUT THE ROLE
As a CCDO Site Manager/Supervisor at Colemans, you’ll play a vital role in the successful execution of demolition projects. You’ll be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every job site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safety First: Upholding strict health and safety standards
- Project Management: Overseeing project planning and execution
- Team Leadership: Leading and motivating your team
- Client Satisfaction: Building strong relationships with clients
To qualify, you should have:
- A valid CCDO Manager (black) with the relevant NVQ industry assessment and/or a CCDO Supervisor (gold).
- Experience in demolition, particularly steel and concrete structures (5+ years).
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A commitment to safety and quality.

PERSON REQUIREMENTS
- Manager (black) with the relevant NVQ industry assessment and/or a CCDO Supervisor (gold)
- Hold other relevant qualifications including, asbestos awareness, first aid at work, temporary works, SSSTS, PASMA, IPAF etc
- A good working knowledge and experience in demolition including steel and concrete structures (5 + years)
- Hold the ability to risk assess activities and put groups of people to work safely
- Hold a Full UK driving Licence
- Give proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- Be willing to travel/work away from home when required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and Coleman & Company procedures.
- Follow instructions from your immediate line manager.
- Follow and do not deviate from all RAMS task briefings.
- Help and support your team and line manager.
- Attend site meetings/progress meetings.
- Ensure you have fully appraised the project and complete site checks and safety procedures are in place and submit in a timely manner requisition forms.
- Plan and monitor works programme and report to your project manager any changes.
- Contribute to the safe and timely delivery of project objectives with specific responsibility for site safety, site discipline, setting and implementing daily activity plans, coordination of resources, including plant and transport requirements, financial control and client liaison.
- Ensure clients and neighbours are happy.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold a valid CCDO Supervisor (Gold) or Manager (Black) qualification with relevant NVQ industry assessments.
- Possess additional essential certifications: Asbestos Awareness, First Aid at Work, Temporary Works, SSSTS, PASMA, IPAF (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in demolition, including steel and concrete structures.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safe work practices for teams.
- Flexible, proactive, and can-do attitude.
- Full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as needed.
