As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our leadership team and play a key role in the future of the business. The Role: You will take ownership of the commercial and financial performance of our projects, working closely with our Quantity Surveyors and company partners to ensure projects are delivered successfully and profitably. Responsibilities include:
- Managing project budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Overseeing contracts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Supporting project teams with commercial advice and risk management.
- Driving cost control and profitability across multiple projects.
- Working alongside our Quantity Surveyors to develop commercial best practice.
- Contributing to business planning and continuous improvement.
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
About You: We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial awareness with a practical understanding of construction. You will have:
- Significant experience in a Commercial Manager role.
- A strong background in construction, ideally including high-end residential projects.
- Experience with conservation, heritage or listed building projects (desirable).
- Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.
- Strong financial, analytical and reporting abilities.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- The confidence to challenge, support and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
